Is it a little bit early to already be excited about Spring?! It’s one of the most beautiful seasons in the Balearics and we are so excited that this winter we are installing swimming pool heating in Menorca, so by March/April if you visit it will be up and running. I am so excited as we will spend more time there in the quieter months, when the sun is often shining, but the water is usually chilly! Not any more 😊️✨ .

I’m missing these lovely pink tiles - this kitchen makes me so happy. When I designed it I wanted it to be a lovely, light filled place that would lift anyone’s mood when cooking in it and the pink tiles really do that.

How beautiful is this picture taken in Menorca by @servarski ✨ Winter in the Balearics is a mixture of beautiful calm, sunny days with cooler nights, which are bliss. Then every so often you get a storm coming through and things get extreme for a few days! I love the drama it can create and being there last Winter renovating, the days like these were exhilarating and definitely made you feel closer to nature. The Islands battens down the hatches for a few days and then the wonderful calm and blue skies return again. I love Winter in the Balearics.

A little bit of frost finally this morning. This winter has been so wet and mild and I’ve missed the crisp cold days (as well as feeling like Lily and I have had a constant cold - toddler life 🙃, we need the crisp cold weather to kill off the germs!) - Wishing you a wonderful weekend - I spotted my first snowdrops yesterday which made me so happy and filled with excitement for Spring ✨

Since posting the @farrowandball styled shot of our kitchen, I’ve had lots of messages asking for more kitchen shots, so here is a wide shot of the room for those who haven’t seen it before.

It’s a whopping 16m by 6m with a 4 meter high ceiling and was a very special room. Designing kitchens is definitely one of my favourite parts of the job and I have two exciting new ones coming very soon!

Sometimes it’s enough just to appreciate the simple details - I love this view in the master bedroom in Menorca. This amazing lamp is from @sohohome and I matched it with this calm cane (I love cane!) bed from @loafhome and simple, low bedsides from @maisonsdumondeuk ✨
